Volunteer Benefits Counseling Program – Milwaukee Area
Milwaukee Volunteer CounselorThis program assists Milwaukee County residents with understanding their Medicare benefits and with accessing other available public benefits. Brooke and volunteers assist Medicare beneficiaries with applying for the low income subsidy for Medicare Part D, Medicare Savings Programs, Medicaid, and SeniorCare. Additionally, assistance is provided with finding the most appropriate Medicare Part D Plan for beneficiaries.

CWAG is recruiting volunteers in the Milwaukee area to help people who are eligible for Medicare programs find out what’s available and help them enroll.
Two training dates have been set –
Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Washington Park Senior Center 10AM – 3PM (LUNCH Provided)
Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the West Allis Senior Center 10AM – 3PM (LUNCH Provided)
