- Low Cost Prescription Drugs/Canadian Drug Mail Order Program: CWAG’s Senior RX Care is the Canadian discount drug mail order program housed in Winnipeg, Canada that provides low-cost, name brand drugs to people of all ages. CWAG provides this service and has a long-standing relationship with this reputable Canadian pharmacy, Senior Rx Care.
- First Weber Discount Program:
CWAG has teamed up with First Weber Group Realtors to provide you a financial discount for the sale of your home or on a one-year Home Warranty on a purchase of a home. CWAG members will receive a commission discount of 20 percent – For Example:

If purchasing a home, you will receive a complimentary one-year Home Warranty Program valued at $425. - CWAG’s Elder Law Center has a highly trained and dedicated legal services staff who provides a wide range of information, advocacy and advice and other legal services to our aging citizens through its five programs:
- The Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Helpline ~ CWAG’s two full-time prescription drug helpline counselors help members determine how best to acquire coverage and assistance with their prescription medicine expenses including advising on the selection of a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan, using SeniorCare and other coverage options, as well as assisting with enrollment and coverage problems.
- The Legal Supervision of the Elderly Benefit Specialist Program ~ Through its staff attorneys and its statewide network of elderly benefit specialists provides members with information and counseling on senior benefits and other elder law issues including SSI, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, consumer issues, housing and food and heating assistance.
- Wisconsin’s Senior Medicare Patrol Program ~ Provides members with Fraud and Consumer E-mail Alerts regarding Medicare and Medicaid benefits in addition to other consumer issues facing seniors.
- The Elder Financial Empowerment Project ~ Through its helpline provides members with information and advocacy services designed to promote senior’s financial security and independence including information about financial powers of attorney, e-mail and consumer fraud scams targeted toward our elderly population and methods to remedy past financial victimization.
- The Guardianship Support Center ~ Through its helpline provides members with information, advocacy and advice pertaining to all legal issues surrounding incapacity including guardianship and conservatorship, advance directives and powers of attorney.
- AAA Membership/Auto/Home Insurance Discount – 15% discount on AAA membership and 5% discount on auto and home insurance.
- Dental Plan: CWAG is partnering with the National Benefits Consultants Dental Discount Program. For a minimal annual fee, CWAG members have access to an internet-based program that provides discounts on specific dental procedures by local providers. This is a discount dental plan for dental care and is NOT an insurance policy.
- Educational Programs at CWAG District Meetings and Annual Convention: During the spring and fall, CWAG has informational meetings and educational programs in each of the nine CWAG districts which include local and federal legislative updates on healthcare issues. Members have the opportunity to attend these meetings in addition to CWAG’s Annual Convention which is held each year in July. This gives members an opportunity to attend workshops on relevant topics of interest. We also provide keynote speakers on matters affecting seniors and our children, the disabled and people who are most vulnerable to consumer fraud and financial elder abuse.
- Federal and State Legislative Advocacy on Issues of Concern to Young and Older Adults in Wisconsin: Up-to-date information and frequent communications with, via e-mail and regular mail, on state and federal health care and legislative issues affecting seniors and their children. CWAG also sends Action Alerts, via e-mail and regularly mail, to our membership on consumer fraud and financial scams on people of all ages; in addition to legislative updates on just-in-time issues/bills that are before the State Legislature and the U.S. Congress. This allows you the opportunity to get involved CWAG and become a knowledge advocate for our elderly and for the young.
