Wisconsin Needs Better Care
New Campaign Aims to Focus Health Reform Implementation on Improving,
Coordinating Care for Vulnerable Older Patients in Wisconsin
Madison, WI – To ensure health reform works for those with the most at stake, the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Group is heading up the Wisconsin’s Campaign for Better Care, a multi-year initiative that will focus on improving health care quality, coordination and communication for older patients with multiple health problems and their caregivers. The Wisconsin’s Campaign for Better Care is funded by The Atlantic Philanthropies and is part of the national Campaign for Better Care. Together these campaigns are building a consumer movement of and for older adults who are counting on reform to provide the comprehensive, coordinated, patient-centered care they need.
